Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. shortening
- Salt
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
- Boil for 10 min the sugar, water, raisins, shortening and salt. Cold slightly; add in Large eggs, vanilla, flour, oatmeal, soda, and spices. Drop on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 min.
