Ingredients

  • 5 c. Ichiban Dashi (see recipe)
  • 4 ounce thinly-sliced boneless pork
  • 2 sm thinly-sliced leeks
  • 3 Tbsp. red miso
  •     Shiso leaves for garnish

Directions

  1. Bring the dashi to a boil. Add in pork and leeks. Simmer three min. Add in miso. Heat till nearly boiling.
  2. Ladle into warmed soup bowls. Adorn with shiso leaves.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
