  1. Saute/fry onion and garlic in oil in a 4 qt saucepan till tender but not brown. Add in tomato sauce, water, frzn vegetables, parsley, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling. Stir in uncooked macaroni; boil 8 to 10 min or possibly till tender.
