Ingredients
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 2 tbsp. olive or possibly vegetable oil
- 3 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 6 c. water
- 5 c. frzn chopped vegetables
- 1/4 c. minced parsley
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dash pepper
- 8 ounce. tubettini, uncooked
Directions
- Saute/fry onion and garlic in oil in a 4 qt saucepan till tender but not brown. Add in tomato sauce, water, frzn vegetables, parsley, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling. Stir in uncooked macaroni; boil 8 to 10 min or possibly till tender.
