Microwave Apple Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 x Granny Smith or possibly Pippin apples (8 to 10)
  • 1/4 c. sugar (to taste) (1/4 to 1/3)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. * Or possibly 4-5 of each
  2. Peel, core, and chop apples. Put in large bowl; cover with plastic wrap.
  3. Cook on high for 15-20 min or possibly till apples are soft and mushy. Give bowl a quarter turn every 4-5 min. Add in sugar and cinnamon while apples are warm. Chill.
  4. Serve hot over vanilla ice cream, or possibly eat cool.
  5. Note: If you do not have a microwave, add in 1/2 c. water and cook slowly over medium-low heat on the stove till apples are soft and mushy.
