Ingredients
- 2 med Honeydew melons chilled
- 12 x Limes, juice only
- 2 c. Tequila
- 1/2 c. Fresh orange juice
- 1 c. Cointreau or possibly triple sec
Directions
- Peel and seed the melons and cut them into cubes. Puree the melon cubes in a food processor. Mix the melon puree with the remainig ingredients. Stir with ice in a pitcher or possibly pour into glases over ice.
- This recipe serves 12 to 16.
- Comments: Adding pureed honewdew melon to margaritas intensifies the green color and fresh flavor while diminishing the alcoholic impact of the drink.
