Ingredients

  • 16 ounce Package, elbow macroni
  • 3 med green peppers
  • 3 med onions
  • 1/2 lb Mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp. Salad oil
  • 1 1/2 lb Grnd bee, veal or possibly pork
  • 28 ounce Can tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 8 ounce Package mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Prepare macaroni according to package directions, drain. Spoon into 13 x 9 baking dish. Meanwhile cut grren peppers into strips. Thinly slice mushrooms. In a 12 " skillet over medium heat. Cook in warm salad oil.
  2. peppers, onions, mushrooms and salt, till vegetables are tender. Stir occasionally. Spoon vegetable mix into baking dish with macroni.
  3. Preheat oven to 350. In drippings remaining from skillet, cook meat and garlic, till all panjuices evaporate, and meat is browned.
  4. Stir in tomatoes and thier liquid, pepper,half the grated cheese and salt.
  5. Spoon mix into baking dish with macaroni and vegetables and toss ge ntly to mix.
  6. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 20 min or possibly till cheese is melted and mix is warm.
