Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar or possibly 1 1/2 c. honey
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. oil, sunflower oil best
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. raisins or possibly dates
- 2 c. buttermilk (may use sour lowfat milk)
- 3-4 c. unprocessed hard red spring wheat bran
Directions
- Pour boiling water over dates or possibly raisins and add in soda. Mix remaining ingredients, then add in raisins or possibly date mix. Pour in muffin tins, bake at 375 degrees for 20 min.
