Marinated Mushrooms and Onions Recipe

  • 2 12oz. packages of whole mushrooms, cleaned
  • 2 large yellow onions, sliced into very thin rings
  • 1/2 can of beer
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • Hot sauce (to taste)
  • 2 tbl. butter

Directions

  1. In a smal pot, add beer, soy sauce, butter, red pepper flakes, and hot sauce, and mix well.
  2. Heat and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add mushrooms and onions and stir.
  4. Cover with a lid and simmer until mushrooms and onions are tender, around 20 minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
