Ingredients
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1/4 c. minced onions
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- Rib eye, 1 to 1 1/4 inches,
- 4-5 pound chuck steak, 1 1/2 inch thick
- Cubed sirloin
Directions
- Prick meat on both sides and let stand in the refrigerator all afternoon or possibly overnight. Turn several times. Quarter onions if using for kabobs. Broil for each side: 10-12 min for rare, 12-14 min for medium, 14-16 min for well done.
- Over the years we've tried others but still prefer this recipe I've had for 36 years!
