Ingredients
- 1 head iceberg lettuce or possibly leaf lettuce
- 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 c. minced green onions
- 1 sm. can mandarin oranges
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds, toasted
Directions
- Mix ingredients for salad dressing (( combine in saucepan and boil till sugar dissolves). Refrigeratefor 2 hrs.
- Combine salad ingredients (less almonds and oranges) in bowl and chill. Before serving add in almonds, oranges and top with dressing and toss.
