Ingredients

  • 12 x Large eggs
  • 2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Lemon rind
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 8 slc bread, cut on the Diagonal

Directions

  1. Grease 9 x 13" shallow baking dish;set aside.In large bowl,beat together all ingredients except bread.Arrange bread slices so they overlap.Pour egg mix over bread.Cover;chill overnight. When ready to serve,preheat oven to 350 degrees.Bake for 30 to 35 min,till golden brown and fluffy.Serve with warm syrup or possibly jam.Makes 8 servings.
