It eliminates the need to roll out the dough again and again as the machine works according to the set cycle and also maintains the correct temperature.   • (i) Onion and Herb Bread Machine Recipe
  • Items needed:
  • 1/3 cup of finely chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (soft and at room temperature)
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 1 teaspoon of your favorite mixed herbs (oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary, parsley, any flavor you like)
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon of active dry yeast
  • (ii) Oat and Wheat Flour Bread Machine Recipe
  • Items needed:
  • 1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup of oat flour
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
  • 1 cup of warm water or milk
  • 2 tablespoons of white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (soft)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Directions

  1. To prepare:
  2. - Mix the warm water, yeast and sugar and stir to dissolve. Set the mix aside for 10 minutes.
  3. - In a saucepan, heat the butter over low heat and sauté the chopped onion and garlic in it until the onion is translucent in color.
  4. - Remove from heat and cool.
  5. - In a separate bowl, mix the herbs, flour and salt.
  6. - In the bread pan of the bread machine pour in the yeast mix.
  7. - Put the flour mix in the bread pan on top of the yeast mix and shut the lid.
  8. - Set the machine to white bread and normal crust cycle.
  9. - Cool on a wire rack before cutting in slices and serving.
  10. To prepare:
  11. - In a mixing bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, oat flour and all-purpose flour.
  12. - In a separate bowl, mix the yeast, sugar and warm water. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  13. - Pour the yeast mix in the bread pan.
  14. - Add the flour mix on top of the yeast mix.
  15. - Add the salt and butter.
  16. - Close the bread pan and set the machine to run on white bread cycle with normal crust.
  17. - Cool on a wire rack before serving.
