Ingredients
- 2 c. cooked macaroni
- 2 c. shredded cabbage
- 1 c. cubed American Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. minced sweet pickle
- 1 lg. unpeeled red apple, diced
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. mayonnaise or possibly salad dressing
Directions
- Cook macaroni till desired doneness on package. Put together macaroni, cabbage, cheese, pickle, apple, salt and mayonnaise. Toss till well blended. Serve salad on crisp lettuce leaves. Makes 6 to 8 servings.This is a good salad to make for those hot days of summer. The crispness of the cabbage and apple are truly refreshing.
