Ingredients
- 1 baked pastry shell, 9 inch
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- Healthy pinch salt
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 2 c. Cold Whip, divided
- 3 tbsp. Kahlua
- 1/2 c. macadamia nuts, minced, plus 1 Tbsp.
Directions
- Beat sugar, cornstarch, salt and egg yolks in small bowl till very well mixed. Heat lowfat milk but don't boil. Stir sugar mix into warm lowfat milk, put back on heat, cook stirring till it thickens and bubbles, about 3 min. Remove from heat, stir in butter. Cover and chill till cool. Mix in 1 c. Cold Whip, Kahlua and all but 1 Tbsp. nuts. Spoon into shell. Refrigerateovernight. Spread remaining Cold Whip on top and sprinkle with remaining nuts.
