Ingredients
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. molasses
- 1 c. melted shortening
- 2/3 c. warm coffee
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 1/2 c. flour
Directions
- Mix together and put in refrigerator to chill. Roll out on floured surface and cut with cookie cutters 1/8 inch thick. Put on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 min. Cut them a little thicker if you want them to stay soft.
