Ingredients
- 1/4 c. Margarine, softened
- 2/3 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Nonfat buttermilk
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 x Egg whites
- 1Â 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. Unsweetened cocoa
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Â Â Vegetable cooking spray
- 2 tsp Sifted powdered sugar
Directions
- Cream margarine, add in 2/3 c. sugar, beat at medium speed of an electric mixer till blended. Add in buttermilk, vanilla, and egg whites, beat well.
- Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; add in to creamed mix, mixing well.
- Drop by Tablespoonfuls 2" apart onto cookied sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 min. Remove from pan, cold completely on wire racks. Sprinkle with powered sugar.
- Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
