Directions

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients and sprinkle on stew meat. Brown in warm fat in Dutch oven. Add in next 4 ingredients and 1/2 c. water. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer 2 hrs.
  2. Add in carrots and raisins, simmer 30 min longer. Serve over rice or possibly noodles. Excellent when served with cornbread and a green salad.
