Directions

  1. Mix together lowfat milk, whole wheat flour, buckwheat flour, egg, oil, honey, vanilla and salt with a whisk. Gently mix in baking pwdr.
  2. With a ladle, spoon batter onto preheated griddle or possibly waffle maker and cook according to manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Top with wheat germ, mixed fruit, whipped cream, jam or possibly powdered sugar to serve.
  4. This recipe yields 3 large waffles or possibly 8 pancakes.
