Lentils & rice or, Mujaddara Recipe

Ingredients

  • I've made this twice so far and find it easiest if you cook the rice and lentils separately otherwise you end up with mushy lentils (yuck)
  • 1 cup Lentils, cooked
  • 1 cup rice, cooked
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2-3 Tbs oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Ground coriander
