Ingredients
- 1Â 1/2 c. Water
- 10 whl cloves
- 2 x cinnamon sticks - (ea 2" long)
- 4 x regular-size tea bags
- 1Â 1/2 c. Water
- 1 can frzn lemonade concentrate - (12 ounce) thawed
Directions
- Combine 1 1/2 c. water, cloves and cinnamon sticks in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 min. Pour warm mix over tea bags. Cover and steep 5 min.
- Pour mix through a wire-mesh strainer into a 4-c. liquid measuring c., discarding tea bags and spices. Stir in water. Pour tea into ice-cube trays and freeze.
- Prepare lemonade according to package directions. Serve over tea cubes.
- This recipe yields 6 c. lemonade and 2 dozen tea cubes.
