Lemonade Chicken In The Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 4 piece chicken, breasts and legs - (to 6)
  • 1 can frzn lemonade - (6 ounce) thawed
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. cool water

Directions

  1. Arrange chicken pcs in crock pot. Combine lemonade (undiluted), brown sugar, ketchup and vinegar and mix well. Pour over chicken. Cover. Cook on HIGH 3 to 4 hrs or possibly LOW 6 to 8 hrs. Remove chicken from pot, cover to keep warm.
  2. Transfer liquid to saucepan. Skim fat; combine cornstarch and cool water and add in slowly to liquid, while stirring over low heat. When thickened, serve with chicken over warm rice.
  3. This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
