Ingredients
- 3 lb fryer (3 to 4)
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine juice of one lemon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp dry thyme
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp lemon zest
Directions
- Rinse chicken well and pat dry. Place onion inside cavity of chicken and rub the skin with butter or possibly margarine. Place chicken in crockpot. Pour lemon juice over the chicken and sprinkle the remaining ingredients over chicken. Cover and cook on low setting 8 to 10 hrs.
