Ingredients
- 1 c. Butter
- 2 c. Sugar
- 3 x Large eggs, (beat one at a time)
- 3 c. Cake flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 x Cake yeast
- 1/4 c. Lukewarm water
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 ounce Chocolate, melted
- 1/2 c. Minced nuts
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Directions
- Sift flour, salt and soda together. Cream shortening with sugar till fluffy. Add in unbeaten Large eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition. Soften yeast in 1/4 c. of lukewarm water, then beat into first mix. Add in lowfat milk, melted chocolate, sifted dry ingredients and minced nuts. Then beat 5 min. Put in icebox for few hrs or possibly overnight. Bake in 350 F oven.
