Ingredients: 1 c. Chicken stock; 1/2 c. Brown sugar; 1 tsp Grated fresh ginger; 1 x Clove garlic, chopped; 1/2 tsp Grnd cloves; 2 Tbsp. Fresh lime juice; 2 Tbsp. Rum (optional); 2 x Lamb center leg steaks (about 1 1/2 pounds)

Ingredients

1/2 c. Brown sugar
1 tsp Grated fresh ginger
1 x Clove garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp Grnd cloves
2 Tbsp. Fresh lime juice
2 Tbsp. Rum (optional)
2 x Lamb center leg steaks (about 1 1/2 pounds)

Directions

Combine in small flat container all ingredients except steaks to make marinade. Place steaks in marinade and let stand, refrigerated, 2 to 24 hrs. Remove from marinade and grill steaks over medium coals 5 to 7 min per side or possibly till steaks reach desired doneness. Throw away marinade.
Makes 4 servings.
