Katrina Mia Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

Very delicious spaghetti sauce! I don't know if recipes like this are allowed - all of the ingredients are to taste ... I never measure anything when making spaghetti sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 Lbs meatballs (recipe included)
  • 1/2 - 2/3 c Italian style breadcrumbs
  • Italian seasoning to taste
  • 3-4 bone in pork chops
  • 1-2 sweet onions
  • 6-8 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1/2 c red wine
  • 2 tbs evoo
  • Crushed tomatoes (how ever many cans you need for the size pot you have)
  • garlic powder to taste
  • dried parsley to taste
  • dried oregano to taste
  • dried basil to taste
  • fresh basil to taste
  • fresh parsley to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. For the meatballs
  2. Mix ground beef with garlic powder, italian seasoning, breadcrumbs, milk, 2 eggs
  3. Roll into balls
  4. Brown on all sides
  5. Set browned meatballs aside
  6. Heat Evoo in whatever pot you are going to cook the sauce in
  7. Season Pork with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  8. Brown Pork on each side and set aside
  9. In same pot saute onions on med. heat until tender
  10. Add chopped garlic and cook until fragrant 2 minutes
  11. Add wine to deglaze pot
  12. Add tomatoes, garlic powder, dried parsley, oregano, dried basil, salt and pepper
  13. Add fresh Italian parsley and fresh basil
  14. Stir all ingredients together
  15. Add browned meatballs and pork chops
  16. Cook on low for at least 6 hours
  17. Serve with your favorite kind of pasta!
