Ingredients

  • 2 med Carrots, cut into matchstick julienne
  • 1 ounce Snow peas, cut into matchstick julienne Freshly grnd pepper
  • 3 c. Water
  • 1 tsp Oriental sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Chopped green onion
  • 1 x Garlic clove, chopped Salt

Directions

  1. Bring water to simmer in medium saucepan. Add in carrots and cook 4 min.
  2. Stir in peas and cook 2 min. Drain vegetables. Rinse under cool water; drain thoroughly. Heat oil in heavy medium skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add in carrots, peas, onion and garlic and stir-fry 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper. Serve vegetables immediately. Jay Stevens, host VEGETARIAN CUISINE
