John's Baby Loin Back Ribs Recipe
2 x slabs (about 4 lbs.) Baby loin back ribs
2 Tbsp. John's Dry Spices
1 c. John's Basting Sauce
1 c. John's Sweet Sauce
- Place ribs in a large, shallow pan. Rub Dry Spices proportionately over ribs. Cover and let refrigerateat least 3 hrs.
- Prepare a warm fire by piling charcoal or possibly lava rocks on one side of the grill, leaving the other side empty. (For gas grill, light only one side.) Place food rack over grill. Arrange ribs over unlit side.
- Grill ribs, covered by grill lid, over medium heat (300 to 350 degrees) for 2 to 2 1/2 hrs, basting every 30 min with Basting Sauce and turning occasionally. Brush ribs with Sweet Sauce the last 30 min.
- Yield: 3 to 4 servings.
- Note: Recipes for John's Dry Spices, Basting Sauce and Sweet Sauce can be found under "Sauces and Seasonings" (I suppose) in the Cookbook.*
