Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. (3 sticks) margarine
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 pkt (4-serving size) jello, any flavor
- 1 x Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr Additional jello
Directions
- Beat margarine at medium speed of electric mixer till light and fluffy.
- Gradually beat in sugar and 1 package of the gelatin. Fold in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour and baking pwdr till well blended.
- Force dough through cookie press onto greased baking sheets. Sprinkle with additional gelatin. Decorate, if you like. Bake at 400* for 13 Minutes. for medium cookies ( about 2- inch diameter) or possibly 8 min for small cookies ( about 1- inch diameter) or possibly till golden around edges. Remove; cold on racks. Store in loosely covered container.
- Makes about 5 dozen medium cookies or possibly 10 dozen small cookies
