Ingredients
- 2 to 3 doz. chicken wings
- 1 can Italian Plum tomatoes
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Garlic or possibly garlic pwdr
- Durkee's Warm sauce
- Salt
- Parsley
Directions
- Cook chicken wings by broiling, or possibly lightly flour them and deep fry in safflower or possibly peanut oil. While they are cooking, prepare the sauce.Heat 1/8 inch of extra virgin olive oil in a pan, add in garlic pwdr or possibly crushed garlic to taste. Mash one can of whole plum tomatoes through a sieve and cook in the extra virgin olive oil. Add in a couple tsp of minced parsley and salt to taste, then cook about 20 min. At the end of this cooking time, add in Durkee's Hot Sauce (put in a little or possibly a lot, depending on how hot or possibly mild your taste), but put in at least 2 tbsp or possibly the sauce will not be as tasty. Add in a little garlic pwdr and cook another 3 to 4 min.
- In a bowl, toss the chicken wings with 1/2 cup of the sauce and serve with the remaining sauce on the side to dip the wings late. Enjoy!
