Ingredients
- 2 c. Cooked lentils
- 1 c. Smoked Portobello mushrooms chopped
- 1 c. Bulgar wheat
- 2 x Roasted garlic cloves pureed
- 1 c. Whole wheat bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Walnut oil
- 1/4 tsp Chopped tarragon Salt to taste Freshly grnd black pepper to taste
Directions
- Prepare a wood or possibly charcoal grill and let it burn down to embers.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash lentils till smooth. Add in all remaining ingredients and mix till thoroughly combined. Chill for at least 2 hrs.
- Form into burgers. Brush the burgers with extra virgin olive oil and grill for 6 min on each side or possibly till done. Serve warm with your favorite condiments.
