  • 3 c. Selfrising flour
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar One 12ounce can beer, room temperature
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.In a large bowl, combine the flour and sugar and mix well. Pour in the beer gradually, stirring constantly, just till the mix is fully moistened; you may not need the entire can. Spoon the mix into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for 55 to 60 min or possibly till the top is nicely browned, brushing the top with the melted butter after the first 30 min. Cold the loaf in the pan for 10 min on a wire rack. Remove from the pan and cold completely on the rack before serving.
  2. Yield: 1 loaf
