Ingredients
- 1/2 lrg Onion, minced
- 4 x Cloves garlic, minced
- 2 c. Ketchup
- 1/3 c. Vinegar
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. Brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 c. Molasses
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 Tbsp. Salt
- 1/4 c. Tomato paste
- 2 tsp Liquid barbecue smokeae
- 1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce, to taste
- Â Â Burbon or possibly whisky, to taste
Directions
- Combine onion, garlic and burbon in a 3 quart saucepan. Saute/fry till onion and garlic are translucent/soft, about 10 minutes. Flame if possible. Add in all other ingredients, bring to boil, then turn down mix to a medium simmer.
- Simmer for 20 minutes. stirring constantly. Run through strainer if you want a smooth sauce.
