Ingredients

  • 1 scant Tbsp Tasmanian peppercorns (or substitute black pepper)
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped
  • 15g salted butter
  • 1-2 Tbsp plain flour
  • 100ml beef stock (I use Kallo Organic)
  • 30ml single cream
  • A splash of brandy (optional)
