Ingredients

  • 60 gm butter
  • 2 x onions, medium
  • 2 tsp garlic, crushed
  • 2 x green chillies
  • 1 tsp cumin, grnd
  • 1 tsp grnd turmeric
  • 2 tsp chilli pwdr
  • 1 tsp grnd ginger
  • 500 gm beef, diced
  • 2 c. beef stock
  • 1/2 c. Coconut cream

Directions

  1. Slice onions.
  2. Heat half the butter and saute/fry beef in batches to brown.
  3. Remove from pan and set aside.
  4. Heat the butter and saute/fry the onions and garlic till lightly browned. Lower the heat and add in the green chillies, cumin, turmeric, chilli pwdr and ginger. Cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add in the meat and stock and simmer for 1 hour or possibly till the meat is tender. Stir in coconut cream.
  6. Serve with rice.
