  • 1 quart. cooked crab meat
  • 1/2 pound butter (2 sticks)
  • 2 lg. onions, finely minced
  • 1 bunch finely minced shallots
  • 2 lg. finely minced cloves of garlic
  • 1 lg. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened to room temperature

Directions

  1. Heat butter on a very low fire; then saute/fry onions, shallots and garlic. When tender, add in soft cream cheese, continue cooking over a low fire till cream cheese is melted. Then add in crab meat, stir well and serve with chips or possibly crackers.
