  • 3 c. scalded lowfat milk
  • 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate & 2 tbsp. butter, melted in double boiler
  • 1/3 c. cornstarch
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Additional butter topping (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat butter and chocolate in double boiler. Add in sugar, salt and cornstarch with wooden spoon; mix well.
  2. Stir in scalded lowfat milk slowly and stir till thickened. Cover and cook about 15 min. Serve warm with pat of butter on top.
