Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. Clear honey
- 1 Tbsp. Worcester sauce
- 1 x Clove garlic, finely minced
- 2 1/2 x Cm, (1 inch) piece fresh ginger, finely minced
- 1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Mango chutney
- 1/4 tsp Curry pwdr
- 1 tsp Soft brown sugar Grated rind and juice of 1 orange
- 1 x 680 g turkey drumstick
Directions
- Mix together all the ingredients for the glaze.
- With a sharp knife make 4 small incisions in the turkey drumstick, then place in an ovenproof dish. Spread the glaze over the turkey then cover and refrigeratefor 2 hrs.
- Preheat the oven to 180 C, 350 F, Gas Mark 4 and bake the drumstick for 1 hour 15 min occasionally turning and basting with glaze.
- Notes This can be served garnished with segmented oranges.
- NOTES : This turkey drumstick makes an economical roasted meal.Alternatively remove the cooked meat from the bone and use in other dishes.
