  • 1 lb baby carrots trimmed, peeled
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a steamer set over boiling water steam the carrots, covered, for 4 to 8 min, or possibly till they are just tender.
  2. In a small skillet heat the butter with the honey over moderately-low heat, add in the carrots and salt and pepper to taste, and cook the carrots, tossing them, for 1 minute, or possibly till they are well-coated with the glaze.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
