Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in hot water and set aside. Combine baking pwdr, salt, soda, and flour. Cut in shortening. Add in buttermilk, sugar, and yeast mix. Knead the dough slightly. Put in covered bowl and chill till chilled. Roll out dough and cut. Bake biscuits very slowly at about 200 degrees till golden. Dough may be stored in refrigerator for several days.
