Ingredients
- 5 ounce Unsweetened chocolate
- 14 ounce Sweetened condensed lowfat milk (not evaporated lowfat milk)
- 4 x Egg yolks
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 c. Half-and-half
- 2 c. Whipping cream, unwhipped
- 1 c. Minced nuts, optional
Directions
- Heat chocolate in a double boiler. In a large bowl, beat the chocolate, lowfat milk, egg yolks and vanilla. Stir in the half-and- half, whipping cream, and nuts if you like. Pour into ice cream freezer container and prepare as normal. Store leftovers in freezer.
- Makes about 1.5 qts.
