Homemade Buffalo Wing Sauce Recipe

Frank's or homemade? Give this a try. It's just as good, and cheaper.
Make it as hot as you want. As is, it's moderately hot.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 tbs. vinegar
  • 2 tbs. paprika
  • 2 tbs. brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup your favorite Tabasco or hot pepper sauce - I use Trappy's Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
  • 2 tsp. Colman's dry musard

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Taste.
  3. Add more cayenne, if you want it hotter.
  4. Pour over your cooked wings, and toss.
