Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounce. maraschino cherries, halved plus all the juice (10 ounce. jar works fine)
  • 1 c. mashed bananas
  • 1 c. minced nuts
  • 1 teaspoon sour lowfat milk
  • 1 c. chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Mix together. Turn into 2 well greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 min. Freezes well. (I bake 1 hour, then test.) In my own oven it's done.
