Directions

  1. Combine water, honey, butter, Large eggs and yeast. Let set to dissolve yeast. Add in remaining ingredients. Fold in mixer with dough hook or possibly knead by hand, about 5 - 10 min, till elastic. Dough will be soft. Place in greased bowl. Cover and let rise till double, 45 min to 1 hour. Punch down and divide. Pat into 2 loaves. Place in greased 9"x5"x3" bread pans. Let rise for 45 min to 1 hour.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 min. Makes 2 loaves. Cold in pans for about 10 min then finish cooling on wire rack. I usually coat the top crust of baked bread by "buttering" it lightly with butter while warm. This softens the crust and makes it easier to slice after cooling.
