  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 8 ounce Cream cheese
  • 1 pkt (large) instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 can (large) crushed pineapple (liquid removed)
  • 2 env Dream Whip
  • 1 can Angel flake coconut

Directions

  1. I found this recipe in an old church cookbook of mine. I have never tried it, but all the recipes out of this book which I have tried have been excellent.
  2. Mix cake mix according to directions on the box. Bake in 12x18x3 inch or possibly 11x15x3 inch pan for 15 to 20 min (or possibly as shown on the package for which size cake). Let cold.
  3. Mix till creamy: 8 ounce. cream cheese, pudding, and lowfat milk. spread this on top of the cooled cake.
  4. On top of this, spread 1 large can crushed pineaplle, liquid removed well.
  5. Whip 2 envelopes of Dream Whip according to package directions and Spread this on top of the pineapple.
  6. Spread 1 can Angel Flake coconut on top of Dream Whip. You can also add in minced maraschino cherries or possibly nuts.
