  • 1 pound lean grnd beef
  • 1 c. minced onion
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 (8 ounce.) can Hunts tomato sauce with cheese
  • 1 tbsp. minced parsley
  • 4 servings instant mashed potatoes, prepared according to pkg. directions

Directions

  1. Brown beef, onion and green pepper in skillet with oven-proof handle. Pour off excess fat. Add in seasonings and 1/2 can Hunts tomato sauce with cheese. Simmer 5 min. Add in parsley to prepared mashed potatoes. Place spoonfuls around edge of skillet on beef mix. Pour on remaining Hunts sauce. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 min or possibly till puffs are lightly browned.
