Directions

  1. Brown okra with small amount of butter or possibly veg. oil in skillet. Add in warm sausages (cut-up). Add in green pepper (cut-up). Add in onion (cut-up). Add in crab meat and shrimp. Add in stewed tomatoes. Add in tomato sauce and 2 cans water. Simmer. Add in gumbo file, salt, sugar, and pepper. Serve over cooked rice. Serves 6 to 8 people.
