Fast, easy and delicious. Use a potato masher to make quick work of the avocados.
Ingredients
- 4 ripe avocados
- 1 small jalapeno pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 medium tomato, seeded and diced
- 1 tsp. lime juice
- Pinch of Kosher salt
- Dash of black pepper
Directions
- Halve avocados, remove pit and spoon out the pulp.
- Using a potato masher, mash the avocado to desired consistency. (Of course, you can always use 2 forks...but the potato masher is much faster.)
- Add jalapeno, onion, tomato, lime juice, salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour in an airtight container. It will keep for up to one week.
