Ingredients
- 4 quarts. green tomatoes, sliced
- 5 lg. onions, sliced
- 4 green peppers, sliced
- 6 red peppers, sliced
- 2 tbsp. pickling spice, tie in a cloth
- 4 c. sugar
- 1 quart. cider vinegar
Directions
- Mix all vegetables; let stand 12 hrs in salt. Rinse well and drain. Add in all remaining ingredients and boil slow till tomatoes are soft, about 30 min. Makes 8 pints.
