Ingredients
- 2 lb Green Beans
- 2 slc Bacon
- 1/4 c. Chopped Shallots
- 3 Tbsp. Minced Almonds
- 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 1/4 c. Balsamic Vinegar
Directions
- Cook green beans in boiling water for 2 min. Drain and rinse under cool water. Drain well; set aside.
- Cook bacon in a small skillet over medium-high heat till crisp. Remove bacon from skillet. Crumble; set aside. Add in shallots to bacon fat in skillet; saute/fry 1 minute. Add in almonds; saute/fry 1 minute. Remove and cold. Add in sugar and vinegar; stir till sugar dissolves. Add in crumbled bacon. Pour vinaigrette over beans, tossing gently to coat.
