Grilled Mini Burgers with feta, calamata olives, garlic and oregano on mini water rolls with tzaziki sauce
Great with potato salad, hummus/fresh veggie dippers. Recipe can be mixed the day before. Recipe can easily be doubled or quadrupled
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1 tsp dried oregano or 1 tbsp of fresh chopped oregano
- 4 oz feta cheese crumbled
- 1/3 cup of calamata olives chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cucumber grated and drained
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 1 tsp dried mint
- 1/4 tsp dill
- 1- 8 count pack of bakery mini water rolls
Directions
- Mix ground chuck, garlic, oregano, feta cheese, calamata olives, salt and pepper. Divide and shape into 8 small patties. Wrap in plastic and pack in cooler.
- Mix in 2 cup size plastic container sour cream, cucumber, garlic, salt, mint, dill and stir. Pack in cooler.
- Once at game, light charcoal grill. When hot, grill burgers 3 mins each side. Place cooked burger on mini roll and spoon tzaziki sauce on top.
